Each disabled mod was added to the merge fingerprint after a newline, so
the stamp held the fingerprint across several lines and previous_merge,
which reads the stamp a line at a time, compared only the first of them
with the whole fingerprint. They never matched, and every launch with a
mod disabled merged every mod again. A space keeps the fingerprint on one
line.
