It runs the one-liner (from GitHub, a chosen release, or this checkout as a local release) in a throwaway home inside a sandbox: bubblewrap mounts that home over yours and an empty /run/user/<uid> with only the desktop's display and a D-Bus of its own, gives it its own process list, hides Homebrew, system Flatpaks and the system bus, and masks /dev/uinput; pasta gives it the network without this machine's loopback services (SteamVR's dashboard). systemctl and systemd-run are stand-ins; sudo and pkexec refuse. A dry run unless --real; --reuse-pyqt lends a PyQt6 set up once as a fresh install does; --keep and --again keep a home and reopen its window. Ending the script, Ctrl+C included, ends everything in the sandbox.
