The full reference list pick left a light's clusters out under
HALO_SERVER, its dedicated server's define, and the debug.txt roll's
header check under HALO_XBOX_CONSOLE; OpenCE defines neither, so both
were dead or always true. The comment no longer cites a dedicated
server.
A line the same as the one before is counted rather than written again
("last line repeated N times", when a different line comes). When
debug.txt passes 64 MB it is renamed debug.old.txt (replacing the one
before) and a new one starts, with the header again for crash reports'
addresses. A game left running for days had no limit to its log.
(cherry picked from commit d4b46c829dcdaa53ee72d7d2901bc166115b0e69, without its dedicated
server README; the web build's copy of each line to the page's log is
kept)
Fixups for #99 and #112: the version raised for the object message's
shader permutation, NETCODE.md brought up to date, a networked glass
break's sound placed where it broke, a frame scratch pool that runs out
logged once, and the new comments marked as the port's.
The host's notice of a broken surface carries no damage effect. The client filled a damage record with zeros and then read tag 0, which is the scenario, and halted. Shards still spawn. They skip the kick from an effect this machine never received.
The frame scratch pool was still the Xbox size after the particle pool grew eight times, so a busy level spent it every frame. It now grows with that particle pool, and a frame that still runs out is logged once.
A console line longer than the buffer halted inside the error printer, before the reason was written to the log. Long lines are cut to fit, and the reason is written first.
Import only independently reviewed production changes. Preserve canonical physics and virtual-keyboard repairs; keep B3 and all unresolved holds out.
Record exactly four approved canary debits (6987 meaningful bytes), six Halo admissions and two revocations. Keep vendor ioinit/storage work separate. Full build, 8252-row sweep, 1318 tests, park/admission/fake audits and 621-object binding pass within approved debit bounds.
Do not publish donor research dumps or private assets. README and unrelated user research remain untouched. See frontier_publication_reconciliation_20260927.md for complete evidence limits and accounting.
write_to_error_file opened and closed debug.txt for every line, which takes
milliseconds on Windows. A host logs thousands of lines when a hundred
machines join, load or leave at once, and while it writes them its own
client and every other machine wait. The native builds now keep the file
open and flush each line.

Recover the exact error-buffer publication shape, preserve Berth declaration formatting, admit the 10/10 translation unit, and retire only the stale _error compiler-tie park.
