A player with no weapon, whose biped has no blow of its own, borrows the melee of the globals' first multiplayer weapon. A campaign map's globals list no multiplayer weapons, and a10 starts the player unarmed, so a melee in the cryo tube's tutorial asked for element 0 of an empty block and halted in tag_groups.c. With no multiplayer weapon there is no blow to borrow, and the melee does what the game's always did there: nothing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
