New setting DASHBOARD_APPS (Display Settings, Visibility & pins): with it set to frametop, an app picked in the dashboard's Launch a program list opens floating in the Frametop desktop instead of as a SteamVR window. float/ft-dashroute runs in the desktop session and wraps Steam's SteamClient.Apps.LaunchNonSteamApp over its DevTools port (float/dash-route.js). ft-floatd's new dashlaunch command finds the app's desktop file by its command and launches it floating, or says it stays SteamVR's: setting off, Frametop paused, every floating window in use, or Steam, SteamVR, a desktop or a layout entry. Then Steam's own launch runs. The wrapper only diverts while the router's heartbeat is fresh, so with the desktop closed every launch is Steam's own. update-check checks the call.
