The one ring. A focused field gets a 3 px soft white ring and a 16 px glow (VP P-17); its fill adds only .08, so the typed text keeps its contrast. The placeholder is upright. The keyboard opens on activation, never on focus.
In the toolbar the same field is a 520 px capsule on section roots, 640 on nested routes, or a 60 px magnifier circle (window-nav). The clear circle is alone in an 80 × 80 hit box (hatched).
