NOTE ON THE RPCS3 CORE
|
|
|
|
KB-RPCS3 links the RPCS3 emulator core, which is licensed **GPL-2.0-only** (see the RPCS3 project's
|
|
`LICENSE`). GPL-2.0-only and GPL-3.0 are incompatible for a combined work; see `LICENSING_STATUS.md`.
|
|
This is why no binary is published with this source release, and why the RPCS3 patch series and the
|
|
build instructions keep the components separate.
|
|
|
|
KB-RPCS3 is an unofficial port. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by the RPCS3 project or by Sony
|
|
Interactive Entertainment Inc. The RPCS3 team's copyright and the upstream authors' notices are
|
|
preserved.
