Positive battery watts mean charging; negative means discharge. Unavailable sensors are not reported, unreadable or invalid. Health is the driver’s status; full / design capacity is a fuel-gauge estimate, not a diagnosis. Charge limits are unsupported on Frame.

Import Android game
Have a backup? Choose the game's base APK, supported native-library or asset splits, and all its .obb files together, or one XAPK/APKS/APKM bundle. Resource, code and feature splits and Android/data restore are not supported here. Frame Control installs the app and puts its data in the right place.
In the desktop app, drop the backup folder or its APK. Matching game data in the same folder is found automatically.
Import from my Quest
My Meta library
ExperimentalExperimental. This uses Meta's undocumented internal API with your own Meta access token. It may stop working whenever Meta changes things, and using it may be against Meta's terms; your account is your responsibility. It only lists and downloads games your account owns, installs them as they are, and never removes a licence check.

Extensions
Add local tools to Frame Control. An extension runs only when you open it, in an isolated panel with read-only headset status.
Decky Loader on Frame
Experimental. Decky's ARM64 backend can start on Frame OS, but its plugin menu has not been verified in the VR shell. Some Decky plugins need root and will not work with this user service.
Frame Control in VR
Open a Frame Control panel in SteamVR's dashboard. The panel runs on the Frame through a loopback server and an opt-in user service.
Open SteamVR's dashboard to find Frame Control. Remove stops its user service and removes its app bundle; your extension folders and browser profile stay on the Frame.
Wireless Adapter doctor
Read-only snapshot of this Windows PC. Works without a headset connection. Nothing on the Frame is read or changed.
Choose Read PC adapters to start. No automatic polling.
Before changing an adapter
Multiple Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter instances can be normal. A number such as #2, a disconnected link or a non-present device does not establish which instance is extra or safe to disable. This tool cannot reliably identify the Steam dongle's primary or active instance, so it offers no disable action.
Disabling the wrong instance can interrupt Steam streaming, PC Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot or wireless displays. Keep the exact PnP instance IDs and compare snapshots before and after a drop with Steam Support. Do not disable an instance based on this list alone.
Check possible 2.4 GHz interference
A Razer or other 2.4 GHz audio dongle can share spectrum with Wi-Fi. This inventory cannot measure interference, detect the audio dongle's channel or prove what caused a dropout or PC shutdown.
Try wired headphones briefly and compare. Space USB radio dongles apart with an extension lead; if your PC uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, compare Ethernet or an existing 5/6 GHz network. Change one thing at a time and keep notes. No network or security settings are changed here.
If streaming drops as it starts
Read PC adapters before starting, then refresh immediately after a drop. Compare exact PnP instance IDs, presence and problem codes; a new numbered name alone does not identify a fault. Note whether the PC's own Wi-Fi also drops.
Retry once with wired PC networking or wired audio if available, then with the radio dongles spaced apart. Change one condition at a time. The PC Wi-Fi channel shown above is not the Steam dongle channel, and this check cannot prove RF interference.
If the adapter will not reconnect
Stop the failed stream, close Steam's streaming session, and check that the adapter still appears in the refreshed PC snapshot. If it is absent, reconnect the USB dongle once at the PC and read again; this will interrupt any connection using it.
If the same exact PnP instance shows problem code 22 (disabled), use Windows Device Manager to review that instance and its enable action. Do not enable or disable a different numbered instance by guesswork. If it stays missing or reports another problem code, keep the before/after IDs and error for Steam Support. Frame Control does not change the driver, radio or network settings.
Power & heat report
Observe battery, CPU, temperatures and available sensors without changing settings. One observation at a time, every five seconds, for at most five minutes.
No observation yet.
Download before starting again or quitting: only the latest observation is kept in memory. Downloads during collection are incomplete snapshots. Stop, disconnect or switching headsets keeps received samples, labeled with the original headset. A smoke session blocks sensor reads.
Open the saved HTML in your browser; it works offline and includes JSON/CSV downloads. Unknown readings are never treated as zero. Rails overlap; do not add them. Sensor accuracy is unverified. Reports include sensor paths and OS builds: review before sharing.
Steam desktop sharing Linux PC only
Help for Steam's own steam -pipewire desktop-in-headset flow on Wayland.
Frame Control's Linux “PC in the headset” feature remains disabled. This helper needs no headset connection.
Save your games and exit Steam using Steam → Exit before launching. This launch does not save a setting or restart an existing Steam session.
Reset opens KDE's Application Permissions so you can revoke a verified Steam screen-sharing session yourself. Frame Control does not reset permissions automatically. Other desktops get guidance only.
KDE System Settings → Applications → Application Permissions → Steam Linux Runtime 3.0 → Screen sharing → Manage 1 Session → Revoke. Verify the session belongs to Steam. Never use Revoke All. If the entry is missing or ambiguous, stop.
VR comfort and performance
Waiting for the FramePlayspace and seated comfort
Tracking-origin controls are not available yet: reversible changes still need an idle-headset test. Use SteamVR’s recenter and room setup for now. A seated origin only affects apps that use seated tracking; it cannot force a game into seated mode.
Optional VR software
None of Frame Control’s features needs these apps. Compatibility reports and account ownership are separate. Paid apps can only be installed here when already owned.
Family and comfort
Session timer and remindersDesktop low-battery alert
No session timer needed. Off when this page opens or you switch headsets. Uses normal status refreshes while the page is visible; no extra polling or headset changes. Two readings must confirm low charge and battery drain. One alert until charge recovers to 20%, with at least ten minutes between alerts.
Off.
Checking session…
A one-minute warning, then Steam Home. Games stay running: save and pause first. Keep this app open and connected for notifications.
How sessions and alerts work
This is a reminder, not a parental lock. The timer continues on the Frame if you disconnect; a headset restart cancels it. Cancel before changing settings. Set break/check-in to 0 to turn them off.
Battery, heat and check-in alerts appear on connected companions during a session. Headset warnings and break reminders continue without a companion. iOS may suspend phone notifications in the background. Breaks and check-ins count SteamVR activity, not confirmed wear time.

Move a game with Steam
On the headset, open Steam → Settings → Storage, choose the source drive, select the game, then choose Move and a destination. If Storage is unavailable in the headset UI, use desktop Steam’s Settings → Storage.
Steam offers destinations it supports. Let Steam finish and handle any errors, then Refresh here. Frame Control cannot verify a supported move API or its recovery behaviour, so it never moves or deletes game files.
