    • No piracy: Omega has no connection with Overdrive, its forks or any other
game piracy store, and shares no code with them. It does not contain, list or
download commercial games; the Store only offers open-source homebrew. This is
now stated in the README (all 27 languages), on the website (new FAQ and
footer) and in the app's "What's new" window.
    • My library reads only Omega's format: an array or {"items":[...]} with
title, url and the optional fields documented in daemon/README.md.
Third-party catalogue lists (FPKGi and similar, pkg_url/content_id lists)
are no longer imported: the library is for your own personal backups.
    • The repository is now TheCriicom/omega-dashboard (the old address
      redirects).

    Install

Open https://play.omegasuite.it/installa in the console browser, or send omega-installer.elf to your payload loader. Existing installs update by themselves.

Omega is an independent project, not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment. It contains no games and does not bypass any copy protection.

    Omega 2026.10.05.5

Free, open-source (GPL-3.0) replacement Home for jailbroken PS5.

    Download

    • omega-installer.elf: send it to the ELF loader (port 9021), or open https://play.omegasuite.it/installa in the console browser. Needs websrv.
    • omega-2026.10.05.5.zip: the same app as a folder, to copy over FTP into /data/homebrew/.

Existing installs update by themselves (signed with Ed25519, checked on the console).

    What's new

    • Settings › Customize: more than 30 options, 12 themes, 8 accent colours, 7 quick styles, screensaver. Changes show live on the Home behind the panel.
    • Games on external drives: games on an HDD, SSD or USB stick show up on the Home with a drive icon and disappear when you unplug it. Several drives are picked up automatically. Needs kstuff; tested off-console only so far, reports welcome.
    • Install destination: with a drive plugged in, Omega asks where to put game folders and .zip games.
    • Faster dashboard: 2 to 4 times less work per frame; drops to 30 fps when nothing moves.
    • Music and radio are heard while Omega is open (background homebrew gets no audio on PS5).
    • Party voice rewritten: about half a second of delay instead of several seconds.
    • My library: FPKGi and other common JSON formats, up to 2000 games, GitHub/Dropbox/Drive links.
    • .pkg installs fall back to a local download when the console refuses the link; errors in plain words.
    • Home news in your language; Send diagnostics in Settings › System and tools.

    Known limits

    • No music or party voice during games: the PS5 gives background homebrew no audio output.
    • .pkg files always go to internal storage.
