  To update from v0.1.x, open Konsole in Desktop Mode and run this once:

  curl -fsSL https://github.com/bod09/frame-autopass/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bash
  

  After that, future updates can be done from the new settings panel.

  New: settings panel

  • Open Frame Autopass from the app launcher. It's only for settings: switching keeps running in the background whether it's open or not.
  • Choose the passthrough mode: Automatic (the default), Always colour or Always night vision.
  • See what passthrough is showing right now.
  • Check for updates and install them with one press.
  • Uninstall everything.

  Notes

  • The icon may only appear on the VR taskbar after a reboot.
  • The same settings are available in Konsole: autopass mode auto|colour|ir and autopass uninstall --purge.

  • Fixed: installing from Konsole in Desktop Mode failed with "Failed to connect to user scope bus". Install and update now work from Desktop Mode.

  First release.

  • Switches passthrough between the Arcturus Vision colour camera and the Frame's IR night vision automatically, depending on the light.
  • Starts and stops with SteamVR; nothing to configure.
  • autopass status, update, report and uninstall commands.
