- Every word of the hardened ProxyCommand is quoted for the shell ssh runs it with (shlex.quote; list2cmdline on Windows) and its % doubled for ssh's token expansion. The ssh path is always the absolute one, spaces and all; an ssh at a path with $(), backticks, quotes or ; no longer runs shell code. - The forward is -W [%h]:%p (an IPv6 headset), and an IPv6 jump host is passed bare with -p. - The stand-in ssh now runs ProxyCommand as OpenSSH does (tokens, then /bin/sh -c exec), with regressions for hostile paths and IPv6.
