This is now based on the dominant hand controller location, now you don't have to be looking at the button/switch etc that you want to use, the controller just has to be pointed at, and in the vicinity of, the item when you click Use. I fixed this when I noticed I couldn't raise/lower some elevators in BlueShift without looking at the switch (and therefore not being able to see what I was doing to the elevator), so that was worth fixing!
Use off-hand controller to control direction of ladder movement. Much better than the neck strain.
Set vr_legacy_ladders "1" if you don't like the new approach
You can now define a selection of commands to run on the console in a commands.lst file. These will be placed in the Console Commands menu.
This is particularly useful if you a) just want to cheat or b) need to skip a scene or to a particular map because a mod isn't working correctly.
Gives a different way to switch weapons which is a bit cleaner for some people, but at the expense of losing the "switch to big screen mode"
Also made the regular control scheme switch weapon a little less fiddly
- haptics for damage / weapons / hitting sh*t with the crowbar
- when you pull the pin on the grenade
- and when you grab the crowbar from your "backpack"
- the geiger counter will also haptic blip the flashlight as well as the audible beep
Reach behind so controller obscured, press grip button and hold, you are now holding the crowbar.. release grip button to restore previous weapon. Good for quickly whipping out the crowbar to smash stuff up!
